Night photo of a temple-style procession at an outdoor ashram site. A large garlanded deity murti or vahana-style structure stands on a raised red-and-white platform, draped in flower garlands of orange, yellow and mixed colours, with a ceremonial parasol with red, blue and yellow stripes above. Several men in white dhotis and bare-chested devotees, some in orange-saffron cloth, stand on the platform and attend it, while a woman in a green and gold sari stands among them. Another man in orange moves on the lower left near a metal staircase scaffolding, and strings of coloured lights line the walls and stands. A banner on the platform reads Global Mythmakhan Sangha. A large pot-like brass vessel sits at the base of the structure.

A large tall cylindrical lingam-like sculpture stands on a tiered base heavily draped in marigold garlands in yellow, orange and white, with a flower-decorated crown-like top and a metal ring band. Beside it a silver-framed metal staircase rises. Several priests in white dhotis and bare-chested orange-saffron cloths stand and kneel near brass pots and bells on the stage. Seated and standing devotees fill the tiers under strings of orange lights, and a golden chair with a red cushion sits at right beside a striped cloth. Blue, red and green textiles cover the floor.2016-12-06December 23 20162016-12-23Night outdoor ritual at an open amphitheatre with tiered stone seating.
