A large outdoor procession moves through a busy city square under a white clock tower with two clock faces and a tiered white base with red accents. Strings of multicoloured pennant flags stretch across the street overhead. A decorated float or palanquin draped in red and gold sits at the centre of a dense crowd, with saffron-clad participants and numerous people in white and orange around it. Many open umbrellas in blue, yellow and red shade the crowd, and a few police officers stand near yellow barricades on the left. Vehicles and motorbikes line the road beyond the crowd.
