Outdoor ritual at a large shady tree beside a dark stone deity murti on the right, its face and shoulders shown in profile with green garland draped over it. Four men in saffron-red robes with yellow borders stand and kneel around a blue-and-striped cloth-covered platform. The man at the front left kneels, bald, bending over offerings on a tray of flowers and a brass plate, handling a conch-like vessel. Behind him, a man in red robes with a garland of orange and yellow flowers stands with hands folded in namaskar. Another bald man in red and yellow stands at right holding a lit flame or torch near the deity. A fourth figure is partly visible at far left. Sunlight filters through the leaves above.
