Night photo of a large outdoor audience seated in rows of white plastic chairs on a open ground, facing a lit stage at the back. A large banner above the stage shows a portrait of a man in orange-saffron turban and clothing with ornate gold-toned decorations, and Tamil text. A smaller banner on the left shows a portrait and Tamil text. Bright floodlights illuminate the scene; the audience is mostly men in shirts, with some women and children visible. A man stands near the stage edge. The stage portrait is a printed depiction, not a physical person on stage.
