Many wear orange or saffron shawls over white clothes; a young girl in a blue jacket and a woman in a patterned top sit nearby. A man in white with an orange shawl stands at the left edge holding a plate, and a bald man in white sits near the back. The setting suggests a communal meal at an ashram retreat.2012-07-21July 08 20122012-07-08A photograph of a free meal service at an ashram food counter under a corrugated roof with red-painted beams. Volunteers in white hairnets and white caps serve food from steel trays onto plates held by women in white and gold sarees and a girl in a cream and orange outfit. A woman in an orange blouse and cream saree on the left holds out a steel plate of rice and curry. Trays of yellow curry sit on the counter, and a green-netted fence and foliage show through the open side. The image is an annadan scene, with food being given to devotees and visitors.2017-03-11A rooftop gathering with a forested hillside behind. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a rudraksha mala, sits centrally in a chair with a plate in hand, appearing to speak to the group; this appearance is consistent with a probable Swamiji, seated and teaching. A standing man at left wears a saffron-yellow dhoti and mala. A woman in a white top with red trim sits beside him, and a seated man in orange wears a mala at the red plastic chair. Around them sit about a dozen children and young people in white, orange, yellow and blue clothes listening, with a girl in white sitting cross-legged on a chair at right.2012-07-15 +1 copiesJuly 08 20122012-07-08July 08 20122012-07-08Outdoor photo of a seated communal meal on a terrace above green terraced fields. Several women in orange saris with dark red blouses and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on mats, eating from green banana-leaf plates with small paper cups. A man in white dhoti and orange shawl sits among them, and a child in a dark shirt sits nearby. In the foreground, a bent-over man in white dhoti with gold border and bare upper body serves or leans over the seated row. On the left, a bearded man with long dark matted hair and a saffron-orange cloth draped over his shoulder receives food on a red plate and holds a yellow-tinged dish. A shaved-headed, bare-chested man with a rudraksha mala and a white hair-cloth on his chest offers a handful of yellow food. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a white hair net sits at a table, and devotees in saffron, orange and red saris and salwar stand in the background.
