A two-storey pale green building with a flat roof, a small upper room with a railed terrace and a palm tree behind it, shot against a clear blue sky. On the first-floor balcony, a group of people stand along the railing: several women in saris and salwar, a man in a purple shirt at the right, a young boy in a yellow top and other figures in dark or light clothing. Some appear to be bending or reaching over the railing. Painted Kannada lettering is on the balcony front, and power lines cross the scene.

A photograph of a damaged village house after a cyclone, its tiled roof stripped away to bare wooden rafters and battens against a pale sky. Exposed brick walls show beneath, and a whitewashed compound wall in the foreground has faded graffiti including green Tamil-style lettering. Corrugated sheet panels lean at the left and a thin wire runs across the roofline. No people are visible in the scene, and no ritual, relief distribution or a person appearance is shown.

A sunlit village street lined with thatched-roof huts and a yellow-green painted house on the left. Several children stand and walk along the dusty concrete lane, including a girl in a light blue top and long skirt in the centre and a small boy in a blue shirt and shorts. Women in colourful saris move about in the background near a row of hanging clothes, and utility poles with overhead wires run across the sky.

A woman in an orange sari holds a small child and receives a foil-wrapped packet, while a boy in a dark t-shirt and shorts reaches out and a girl in a white top stands to the right. A small framed deity print hangs on the pink wall beside the door. Frayed ropes and tangled wires hang from the roof, and a bicycle leans against the wall at right.

Night photograph of a damaged single-storey house with a turquoise-painted front wall, its corrugated metal and thatched roof partly torn away and sagging over bamboo rafters. A bare bulb glows inside the doorway. Bicycles lean against the left wall, and scattered debris, a metal pot, a bucket and a brass vessel lie on the muddy ground in front. A small sapling stands at right beside an unfinished multi-storey building. No people are visible in the scene.
