A man in a saffron-orange sleeveless top and a long orange shawl, wearing a white and green flower garland and a red tilak on his forehead, holds a yellow rope tied to a white pole with his right hand while a silver tray of pink flower petals rests on his left arm. Crowd members wear white shirts, checked shirts and dhotis. Behind them a red and orange bus and a blue wall are visible, and a small white plinth stands at the lower left. The scene appears to be a flag-hoisting or pole-raising ceremony with petals offered before the pole. The central figure's appearance is consistent with a saffron-clad sannyasi, but the identification is uncertain from the image alone.August 03 20092009-08-03December 23 20092009-12-23November 25 20092009-11-25
