A photograph of a padapuja-style foot-washing scene on a concrete floor. A woman in a white embroidered salwar with an orange blouse and a rudraksha mala bends forward, pouring water from a silver vessel over the bare feet of a seated devotee. The feet rest on a green leaf mat. Beside them, another person in white clothing stands with bare feet on a banana-leaf mat. Beside the leaf mat, a second devotee's bare feet are visible, all arranged for the ritual washing of feet.

Devotees bow deeply with their heads lowered toward the feet of standing men on a concrete floor. Two women in the foreground, one in a white top with a green-bordered cloth and one in an orange garment, bend forward with hands folded. Behind them, barefoot men in white kurta-style clothing and orange or brown lower garments stand on large green leaves placed on the ground, as in a padapuja. A man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala is visible at right, and a person in a white shirt with a wristwatch stands at the edge of the frame. The scene suggests a devotional foot-worship ritual performed during a procession.2009-02-13February 13 20092009-02-13February 13 20092009-02-13February 13 20092009-02-13A photograph of a devotee kneeling on sandy ground and pouring water over the bare feet of a person in an orange saffron garment.
