A figure in a long saffron-orange robe stands at left, back partly turned, reaching toward a brass oil lamp held before a shrine. Behind them a large deity murti pair sits under a gilded arch wrapped in garlands of yellow, white and multicoloured flowers: a male figure with an orange turban and layered white and black beaded necklaces, and a female figure in a cream and gold sari with a crown. A small orange-clad figure sits at the front of the altar, garlanded. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides and a silver vessel sits at right. The setting is a stone temple-style pavilion with carved pillars and greenery behind. No physical people beyond the robed figure are visible.2008-03-22March 22 20082008-03-22A devotee in an orange sannyasi-style robe stands at left, holding a brass aarti lamp or offering vessel toward a shrine. Inside a stone pavilion with a gold-framed arch, two large deity murtis are dressed in gold and draped in layered garlands of yellow, red, white and green flowers. The seated figure wears a gold saree and gold jewellery, while the standing figure wears an orange turban and a pearl necklace. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides, and a small statue in orange with white flower garlands sits in front of the central pedestal. A white cloth and offerings rest on the pedestal, with trees behind the pavilion.2008-03-22March 22 20082008-03-22December 01 20112011-12-01A photograph of a temple abhishekam scene. A small bronze utsava murti in a silver prabhavali sits in the foreground with yellow and red garlands draped around it, and a second person in white dhoti sits at lower left. The shrine is decorated with bright flower garlands and a green and gold border.2007-01-01December 29 20092009-12-29July 26 20102010-07-26December 29 20092009-12-29December 01 20112011-12-01March 22 20082008-03-22A photograph of a temple abhishekam at a Shiva-Parvati murti: a golden deity pair draped in red and gold silk, adorned with white and red garlands and yellow marigold strands, is being bathed with water from a golden vessel. A figure in a long orange robe with long curly hair pours the water over a dark linga-shaped base, with a white marble seated figure and a small golden deity figure below. Another person in orange stands partly visible at the left edge. The deities are murti, not living people. Dark stone, gold ornaments and a red kumkum-coloured drape dominate the scene.2010-02-12
