Beside her a woman in white sari holds a bundle, and a man in white dhoti with a yellow-trimmed cloth sits near a flat-screen monitor on a stand. Brass vessels, a kalasha-like pot and small diyas sit on the ground with offerings. Behind, a large crowd in white and bright clothes gathers under palm trees, with a white building and a few people seated at long tables.
