A large crowd presses tightly together, mostly men in white shirts and dhotis, with several saffron-robed monks, some shaved-headed, wearing orange garments and rudraksha beads. A central figure with swept-back grey hair and bare upper body wears a saffron cloth over one shoulder and reaches toward the crowd with his hand raised.
