Photograph of a dim temple doorway glowing with warm lamplight, framed by a yellow wall and a red-brown lintel bearing Tamil script. A shaved-headed man in an orange saffron garment with a long gold-beaded necklace and rudraksha mala stands in the foreground holding a small gold ceremonial vessel. Beside him a man with short dark hair, bare-chested and wearing a white dhoti with a red thread and tattoo on his arm, looks toward the doorway. Several other devotees in white and orange crowd close around the entrance.
