Ornate golden umbrellas with red, orange and green panels are carried overhead by men in white shirts and dhotis. A large golden ratha/chariot with a decorated canopy and deity murti sits at the upper right, with red and orange flags and garlands. Crowds of devotees fill the road, many in white shirts and dhotis, with women in saris and salwar in pink, blue, green and yellow. A drummer in white stands at left. A roadside banner shows a portrait and Tamil script. Several sannyasi-style figures in saffron are visible in the crowd. Numerous people are visible, well over one hundred.2006-09-24February 02 20072007-02-02
