A photograph of a homa at night: a large flame rises from a square fire pit in the foreground, with dark silhouetted heads of onlookers at the left and right edges. Behind the fire, a person in an orange-red shawl and a red bindi sits in the smoke. Brass oil lamps with lit flames stand on pedestals in the background, and a tilted ceremonial object is visible above the fire. Shadows and smoke dominate the frame.
