Seven musicians sit cross-legged on white sheets; most wear white shirts and white dhotis, while the central player wears a maroon shirt and an orange-gold dhoti. Each plays a long wooden nadaswaram pipe with a bell-shaped bronze end, and the second-from-left player holds a drum at the edge of the frame. Several musicians wear identification badges and gold-coloured ceremonial threads. Yellow floor markings and a few partially visible audience members in the foreground complete the scene. Two men sit cross-legged on a red mat playing long brown wooden nadaswaram-style wind instruments with flared bells. The man on the right wears a maroon shirt and a green-and-gold patterned dhoti, with a red forehead mark and a dark bracelet.
