A photograph of a group of pilgrims trekking single file along a narrow mountain path that passes under an overhanging rock ledge in a steep, forested gorge. Most walkers wear orange or saffron clothing and orange caps, with backpacks; one woman in a white top and dark leggings walks in the foreground, and another figure in a red top follows. Green pine and deciduous trees line the cliffs under a hazy sky. The people are walking away from the camera, so no face or distinctive presentation is visible for any candidate.

May 24 20062006-05-24A photograph of a group of pilgrims walking single file along a narrow dirt path cut into a steep rock face on a mountain trek. On the left, a red-and-white metal railing borders the drop into green forested valley under a partly cloudy sky. Several people wear saffron-orange robes, including a figure in orange at the front and another at the right edge, while others wear casual jackets, trousers and shawls. A person near the center carries a small bundle. The rock wall rises on the right with patches of greenery. The scene suggests a pilgrimage trail with monastic-style robes, though no individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2006-05-24May 24 20062006-05-24May 24 20062006-05-24A photograph of a mountain trail carved into a rock face beside a steep green valley under a partly cloudy sky. A group walks single file along the path. At the front, a man in a blue jacket and beige wrap carries one end of a wooden pole, and a man in a light sweatshirt carries the other end, with a palanquin-style seat between them. A figure seated on the pole wears an orange-saffron robe and has long, swept-back dark hair, which matches the page's a person cue but is not a visible role identification. Behind them, several people in orange robes and orange caps follow, including a woman in an orange shawl and a woman in grey trousers. A metal railing runs along the left edge of the path.2006-05-24A photograph of a long line of pilgrims walking up a steep, rocky mountain path lined with pine trees and shrubs in the Himalayan hills. Most walkers wear saffron-orange clothing, and several men in front have orange turbans and orange shawls; one foreground man wears a dark blue jacket and an orange turban, and another wears an orange cap. The path winds away into the distance, and a small purple-and-white logo appears in the upper left corner.2006-05-27A group of devotees in orange saffron shawls walks along a pale rock path beneath tall conifer trees on a hillside in the Himalayas. In the foreground a bare-footed man in an orange wrap carries a long silver trident. Beside him a woman in a light blue sari and orange shawl walks, and a man in a white kurta carries a staff. A bearded elder in a white beard and orange clothing walks in the group, and a man with long dark hair in an orange robe and rudraksha mala walks at left, carrying a wooden staff. In the foreground a man with long swept-back dark hair, bare-chested and wrapped in a flowing saffron-orange cloth, walks ahead and looks to the side; the robe leaves his shoulder bare and his appearance carries long hair and saffron garments, though the image is uncertain for an identification. Beside him a man in saffron wrap carries a bundle and wears a mala. Behind them men and women in saffron shawls, white t-shirts and orange caps walk with backpacks, and a few people stand further back by vehicles on the road. Saffron and orange garments dominate the scene.2006-05-22June 30 20082008-06-30 +1 copies
