A decorated Shiva lingam in a shrine niche, worshipped as a deity murti rather than a person. The black stone lingam sits in a silver yoni-pitha base and is crowned by a silver five-hooded cobra hood with a jewelled rosette at its centre. The shrine is framed by an ornate gold repoussé arch with floral and peacock-like motifs. In front, the lingam is draped in a tiger-striped velvet cloth, with layered gold bead necklaces, a green and red jewelled necklace, and a large red-and-silver stone-studded ornament set in a crescent-and-diamond pattern. A plain white cloth with a gold border lies at the base. No people are visible.
