Outdoor photograph of a flag-hoisting ceremony on a grassy lawn at a college campus. A tall white flagpole stands at centre with a circular stone base decorated with red and yellow flower petals. To the left, a large painted banner with an illustrated portrait of a figure in white and yellow robes, and a red-and-yellow marigold garland, is partly covered by white cloth beside a white cross-shaped post. Dozens of students in white and checked shirts and grey trousers stand in a long line under trees, hands at their sides or folded. Behind them is an unfinished concrete multi-storey building with empty window openings and overcast sky.
