The golden statue is seated with a raised hand and holds a ceremonial object, and a shower of golden particles and liquid spills from the pour. Ornate gilded pillars frame the shrine, and a camera operator stands at the right edge. The figure's upper back is bare beneath the saffron shawl, and the scene looks like an abhishekam at night, with a dark background behind the shrine.2006-09-23October 13 20212021-10-13December 20 20112011-12-20A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a pair of gilded metal deity murtis seated side by side under an ornate golden arch. A priest in orange-red dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, pours water from a silver vessel over the figures, which are glistening with water. The seated figure on the left holds a trident-like staff and wears a tall crown; the figure on the right wears a crown and jewelry. Another priest in orange robes bends over at the right edge. Green foliage shows through the open pavilion behind them. +1 copiesMarch 28 20202020-03-28September 28 20222022-09-28
