Outdoor photo of a family group posed beside a small roadside shrine under a large tree. A woman in a blue patterned sari with a white handbag stands at left smiling, with a older woman in green and yellow sari beside her. Three young girls in red, pink-and-purple, and purple-and-blue dresses stand in front, most wearing face masks. A man in a white shirt and an older man in white clothes and a mask stand behind. The shrine is decorated with marigold and orange garlands and holds a framed portrait with a red garland. Offerings include a plate of flowers, a golden lion figure, a brass lamp, and a golden trident at right. Red rose petals are scattered on the ground.

A group of six women and girls stand before a garlanded memorial shrine under a large tree outdoors. The shrine, a stone structure with a small tiered top, is draped in yellow, red and white marigold garlands and sits on a stone base with a Tamil inscription. Several women wear sarees: one in a green and pink saree, one in a yellow-green saree, one in a blue saree, and one in a yellow-and-cream saree. Two girls in red and in pink-and-purple outfits hold pink flowers and wear white face masks. At right, a large framed portrait printed on a cutout is garlanded with red and white flowers and shows a bearded man in a saffron-coloured head covering and ornate gold necklaces. A pink cloth and flower offerings lie on the ground in front of the shrine. No one in the scene is identified as a person; the portrait is a printed image.2021-11-15November 15 20212021-11-15November 15 20212021-11-15November 15 20212021-11-15November 15 20212021-11-15November 15 20212021-11-15November 15 20212021-11-15Outdoor photo of a small grey stone shrine canopy draped with yellow, white and purple flower garlands, standing over a memorial slab with a pink and green cloth and a dark stone plaque bearing Tamil inscription. An orange-and-purple canopy shades the scene. A woman in a brown and yellow floral sari with a pink flower in her hair bends forward toward the shrine, while a man in white kurta and white dhoti, wearing a face mask, offers a garland. A girl in a red dress and a face mask stands at right, and a man in white dhoti stands in the background. Red earth and fallen petals cover the ground.2021-11-15Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A bearded man in a white kurta and yellow shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaskar before a dark stone deity murti draped in red cloth and white and yellow flower garlands. A woman in a teal sari with a dark shawl stands at left with hands folded, and a younger person in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands beside him. Concrete posts, a low brick wall and a stone plinth with small offerings surround the shrine. Whether the bearded man is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the identity is unsure.2008-05-25Outdoor group photo at a decorated temple-style shrine with a deity murti visible in the background under a canopy of marigold and rose garlands and banana leaves. Seven people stand in a row: a man in white dhoti and shirt with a garland, an older woman in white sari, a central figure with long dark hair wearing a saffron-orange robe and a white-and-red flower garland, a man in white shirt and trousers with a rudraksha-style mala and garland, a young woman in an orange sari with a white flower garland, an older woman in a maroon-red sari with a garland, and an older man in white dhoti and shirt with a pink-and-green garland. A red-and-white cloth hangs at the left edge. The central saffron-robed figure has long swept-back hair and ornate cues, consistent with the page's reference to a person, appearing in person at the marriage-ceremony event; the others are devotees or family members.2007-02-15September 16 20132013-09-16 +1 copiesApril 2008 - Kailaasa In LA Events
