A ceremonial padapuja scene: two red thrones with silver trim are side by side. On the left, a man in a maroon silk dhoti-style garment with a gold necklace and gold armbands, wearing a long garland of white, yellow and red flowers, sits with his hand on the armrest. Beside him, a bald man in saffron orange robes with a flower garland sits with his bare feet resting on a brass plate of flowers and offerings. Brass oil lamps, a small silver cup and kumkum-marked feet are visible. Attendants in orange and white sit nearby, and one devotee's hair is visible at lower right. A figure with long dark hair wears a dark red-brown dhoti-style garment, a long rudraksha-style mala with gold beads, gold armbands and multiple marigold and rose garlands, seated on an ornate red throne with silver motifs. Beside him, a bald man in a saffron-orange robe with orange and yellow garlands sits on a matching red chair. Behind them, other men in traditional dress wear garlands, and a man in a white shirt sits in front with a red-marked forehead. Both wear white flower garlands and rudraksha malas; the man on the left wears a gold necklace and a head covering, and the man on the right has a gold headdress and a long gold chain. Behind them, an orange-clad attendant stands beside a large banner with Tamil script and a portrait. In front, a row of microphones and media logos is set up on the wooden floor, with a metal railing separating the stage. The page indicates a person was present at this event; the man on the right matches compatible cues of ornate gold adornment and saffron robes, so this is an appearance-based candidate.2012-04-29April 29 20122012-04-29
