A handheld orange poster reading SAVE GITA across the top and HELP HUMANITY along the bottom, in large cut-out letters with red, white and dark blue accents. A black panel in the centre shows a black-and-white image of Krishna playing a flute, beside a peacock-feather motif and Sanskrit verse, with English translation text below. Peacock feathers decorate the top-left corner and a green-sleeved hand holds the sign at the right edge. Behind it, people in white sit on grass, and a bowl of flowers appears at the lower right. The poster is a protest-style graphic with a Krishna image and devotional verse.

Several people hold handmade signs: one reads RUSSIA! STOP THE BAN ON THE GITA in black capitals on white, another reads RUSSIA DO NOT BAN BHAGAVAT GITA on light blue. A man on the right wears a white kurta and holds a poster of a smiling man in an orange-saffron turban with a red-and-white sticker, beside a painted Krishna figure. Other protesters in white kurtas and lanyards hold a Spanish flag and a German flag, and a seated man in a tan cap and glasses is in the foreground.2011-12-26Outdoor protest on a grassy lawn in front of a road and parked buses, with a group of people seated on mats and newspapers. Several placards are raised reading Bhagavad Gita is for you, Russia stop the ban on the Gita, and Bangalore-related slogans. A woman in white with a pink shawl sits at left, and a woman in a red top sits in the centre, both holding small items. At right, a woman in a dark sari and a child in a pink top sit at a low table with fruit, flower garlands, brass lamps and plates of offerings, which suggests a small ritual setup. A standing man in white is at right edge, and others are seated behind the placards. No figure matching a person description is visible.2011-12-26
