In the foreground, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti wears a yellow marigold garland, and beside him a woman in a red-bordered sari and a man in white with a yellow garland stand near a black metal rack. To the right, a crowd of devotees in white dhotis and yellow garlands, along with a monk in saffron robes, stands behind an orange curtain. Orange and red fabric hangs from the pillars. One figure at the left, in a saffron robe, is bald and holds a long staff, while several others stand or sit in a row near the shrine. The scene suggests a ritual or darshan at a temple.2009-12-26December 31 20062006-12-31Outdoor temple procession at a stone-pillared shrine with carved granite columns and a raised platform.
