At centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulders and a long garland of beads, with a red bindi on his forehead. Beside him, a companion in saffron wears a bead mala and a red mark, and several shaved-headed men in saffron and white clothing stand among the crowd. A photographer with a camera is visible in the background. The central figure's appearance, long hair, saffron clothing and beaded garlands are consistent with the page's Swamiji reference, a probable match based on these cues.2010-12-29December 07 20072007-12-07August 09 20102010-08-09December 23 20082008-12-23December 23 20082008-12-23Night procession at an Indian temple or ashram. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis wear orange shawls, rudraksha malas and vibhuti. A woman in a white sari with an orange shawl carries a flower-decorated basket. Above them, large colourful umbrellas with tassels and a trident-topped staff are carried in the procession.2007-01-01December 07 20072007-12-07A crowded nighttime photo inside a busy temple lane lined with shops and offerings. In the foreground, a man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a gold-beaded necklace and gold armbands looks upward, a white tilak on his forehead; the cues are long swept-back hair and ornate clothing, so he is a probable Swamiji candidate present in person. Beside him, a woman in an orange sari with a dark mala smiles. Behind them, a man in an orange t-shirt with a rudraksha-style mala and a man in white kurta with a wooden bead mala look up; a bald man in white and a man in a light blue shirt with a mala stand nearby, and devotees fill the background.2012-04-11Night procession with a golden palanquin-style float decorated with pink and white flower garlands at the lower right and left. Above the crowd, several large ceremonial umbrellas in colourful panels of red, yellow, green and blue with fringed edges and swan-like emblems are held aloft. At the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and raises one hand in greeting while walking forward. Around him, many men and women in white dhotis and saris, some in saffron shawls, and a uniformed police officer in khaki and a cap walk alongside. A cameraman with a large camera is visible at the right edge. The crowd fills the street, with a densely packed group of several dozen devotees visible.2009-02-10 +1 copies
