November 20 2002 - Blessing citizens in Coorg Estate2002-11-20November 20 2002 - Blessing citizens in Coorg Estate2002-11-20A photograph inside a green-walled room where a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe and a red-and-white flower garland sits on a red cushioned seat with his palms pressed together. Women in white and cream saris and yellow shawls sit on the floor before him, some holding brass plates with lit oil lamps, flowers and offerings. A framed picture of a deity hangs on the wall, a plate of apples and sweets sits to the left, and a man in a white shirt sits at the right edge.2010-01-19A photograph inside a room with pale green shelves holding two steel thermos flasks. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a flower garland of pink and white blossoms and a gold pendant sits in an orange armchair with hands folded in namaste, a vertical tilak on the forehead and long dark hair. Devotees sit on the floor: a woman in a deep purple sari with gold bangles and a man in a white shirt with a rudraksha-style mala performing a puja, while another woman in white holds a brass plate. A woman in a beige sari and a girl in a pink dress also sit nearby. A tray with fruit and offerings is on a wooden stand beside the chair, and a devotee's feet are being washed with a brass vessel in the foreground. This appears to be padapuja, the ritual washing of feet.2010-01-19A seated man in an orange turban and orange robe with a long floral garland sits on a red-cushioned seat, hands pressed together in greeting. Below him, several people kneel on a green mat, including a woman in a white sari and a man in white shirt and dhoti washing or offering flowers at his feet, while a woman in an orange sari arranges petals. Behind them, a seated crowd of women in orange, red, green and yellow saris watches, with black pillars and a teal grille in the background. The scene resembles a padapuja honouring a guest.July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesJuly 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesIndoor photo of a seated figure in an orange sleeveless robe with long dark hair and a white flower garland with red roses, palms pressed together in prayer, on a red cushioned seat. The figure matches the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues of long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and floral garland. Before him on a brass tray are silver and brass bowls, a plate of apples and sweets, and a kalasha-like brass vessel on a counter. Around him sit devotees on the floor, including a man in white shirt and dhoti, girls and children, and a woman in a cream sari with red border praying with folded hands. A woman in purple sari sits on a chair, and a woman in cream and yellow sari with a rudraksha mala stands at right. A cameraman films from the doorway, and a framed picture hangs on the wall with red and orange floral decoration.2010-01-10August 11 20092009-08-11July 07 20142014-07-07 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated saffron-robed figure in a pale green room, hands joined in front of the chest, on a large reddish-orange armchair. The figure wears a red-and-white flower garland and a saffron cloth, with long dark hair. Around the chair, devotees sit on the floor holding lit oil lamps and brass plates with offerings, including a yellow-bordered shawl on a woman and white and blue saris. A man in white clothes sits at left with hands folded. Two wooden side tables hold fruit and offerings, and a framed portrait on the wall shows a figure garlanded with red flowers. The scene appears to be a darshan with puja, with the lamps and plates as the central ritual elements.2010-01-19April 01 20122012-04-01
