A stage at a temple-style event with dark red curtains and a starry backdrop. A standing man in an orange-brown dhoti and saffron head wrap holds a microphone and speaks. Beside him a seated figure in an orange robe performs a puja over a deity murti decorated with garlands and a kalasha-like setup. Several ornate deity murtis and decorated processional palanquin-style thrones with colourful fringed canopies, garlands and gold ornaments stand on the stage. A seated figure in white and a turbaned man in orange sit at lower right near brass vessels and offerings of fruit. The scene suggests a Meenakshi Pattabhishekam puja.
