A man with long dark hair and a red and white flower garland stands with his forehead pressed against the trunk, wearing a bright orange garment with a gold border and a gold armband. Garlands of red, magenta and white flowers wrap the trunk and drape across the platform, with scattered petals at its base. Behind him, two men in white dhotis, one holding a camera on a tripod and the other with a bald head, watch and film. He wears a white and red flower garland, a rudraksha mala, and beaded bangles on his wrist and upper arm, with a white tilak marking his forehead and long dark hair falling past his shoulders. A yellow and red flower garland hangs from a rope on the tree at left. The setting is an open outdoor grove with dirt ground and a low stone platform. Strong cues: long swept hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and ceremonial garlands, so this is a person presence, in person.2011-12-11A photo of a person in orange saffron robes standing barefoot on a dark stone slab beside a large old banyan tree with thick hanging aerial roots. The person wears a long multi-coloured garland of white, yellow, red and purple flowers, plus rudraksha beads, with long dark hair and eyes lowered. Around the white-painted platform at the tree's base are a brass bell, a plate of flowers and more flower garlands draped on the trunk. A second robed figure in orange stands at the left edge of the frame. Sandy ground surrounds the scene.2009-12-23
