A woman with long black hair in a white salwar kameez and a flowing saffron-orange shawl stands at the centre, bent forward and gripping a barbell placed across the rack, with a green mat underfoot. Surrounding them are many people in white kurtas and white dhotis, several wearing orange or saffron headbands and orange scarves, and some wearing lanyards. Women in white and yellow saris and salwars watch from the right, and a young child sits in the lower right corner. Sandy ground and a few onlookers in casual clothes fill the background.
