Outdoor photo at a Dasara celebration: a crowd of devotees, many women in yellow, pink and white saris and some men in white, stand in an open dusty ground with trees, a concrete building and a fenced area behind. Several people are smeared with bright pink, blue and yellow powder, and a few hold green leaves. In the centre, a bald man in a plain saffron-orange robe with a pink-powdered shoulder stands among the crowd, while a man in a yellow-and-white shawl gestures nearby. A photographer with a camera appears at the right edge. The setting is an open ground with a thin cloud sky, and a bald man in orange is in the middle foreground, a person by his saffron robe amid devotees, though the cues are limited.
