Kailasa Paramparagatha Arunagiri Yogishwara Adi Arunachala Sarvajnapeetha SamrajyamOctober 01 20102010-10-01March 29 20092009-03-29A sepia-toned vintage photograph shows an elderly, thin, bare-chested man with close-cropped white hair seated cross-legged on a folded dark mat at the edge of a dirt path. He wears a white cloth wrap around his waist and draws his knees together in a meditative posture, hands resting on his legs. Behind him stands dense green shrubbery with small white flowers, a tree on the left, and a whitewashed temple-style structure with a dome and spire rising above a low stone wall. The photo has worn edges and fading, and the scene appears to be an outdoor temple or ashram grounds. No distinctive a person cues such as flowing hair, saffron clothing or malas are visible, so the identity is uncertain and he is described only by role as a seated meditating man in white.October 16 20062006-10-16Kailasa Paramparagatha Arunagiri Yogishwara Adi Arunachala Sarvajnapeetha Samrajyam +1 copiesTwo old sepia photographs are displayed against a dark red velvet cloth beneath an ornate gold-carved frame. This is a depiction of a person in a printed photograph, not a physical person in the scene.
