The taller figure in orange robes with a white beard has a light-coloured hair covering and is receiving a bow; the bowing devotee wears a red-and-gold shawl over orange robes and is bent low touching the taller man's feet. Seated dignitaries in white kurta-pyjama and a green waistcoat watch from red chairs, a man in a dark suit stands behind, and a man in a striped shirt stands at right. A banner in red and white Kannada script behind the stage reads institutional names. The scene reads as a ceremonial stage function.
