Many devotees in white and light clothing stand and walk about; men wear white dhotis and shirts, women wear white and pastel saris, and one older man in the foreground wears a white dhoti with a colourful patterned shawl. A few people in saffron-toned attire are visible near the back. Lit by low early-morning or evening sun casting long shadows.2006-12-22Outdoor photograph of a crowd gathered on bare sandy ground under palm and leafy trees, with a row of small white-and-blue flags strung overhead. Many people in white and light traditional dress, including women in white saris with coloured borders and men in white dhotis and shirts, move among clay pots and cooking fires in the background, apparently preparing offerings. A woman in a light green sari holds a water bottle, a man in white dhoti walks in the foreground, and women in pink and purple saris stand to the right beside a white-draped structure. The scene suggests a communal ritual cooking gathering, though no specific deity or ritual is clearly visible.2006-12-31Outdoor photo at a convention ground beside a palm grove and a white multi-storey building, with a blue-roofed stage and red drape behind. Two men in saffron-orange robes walk on dusty ground. The taller man in front wears an orange garment, has short dark hair and smiles while gesturing. A second orange-clad man with long swept-back dark hair and an orange wrap follows just behind him; he has distinctive long hair and orange clothing, so he is a person candidate. Around them, women in white saris with yellow shawls and a woman in a pink sari with folded hands walk among men in white shirts and dhotis. Some onlookers stand at the right edge.2009-11-27Outdoor photograph at a construction site with bare red-brown earth, excavated soil heaps and a concrete foundation edge. Several women in saris and shawls walk in a line carrying shallow metal trays of soil or earth. In front, a woman in a yellow shawl and teal top holds a tray; beside her a woman in a white sari with blue border and a yellow shawl; at the right a woman in a dark green sari with orange stripes and a bangle holds a tray. Further left, a woman wears a beige shawl. Behind them men in white shirts and an orange-clad man stand near a parked blue car, a water tank and a stone pavilion with pillars.2006-12-22December 17 20062006-12-17December 25 20062006-12-25Outdoor ashram gathering at a construction site beneath a corrugated metal shelter with palm trees. In the foreground a long-haired figure in orange-saffron robes and shawl stands with back to the camera, flanked by women in white, blue-and-white, orange and green salwar or saris, and a woman in a beige shawl. Brick foundations and wooden poles surround them, and a black cloth backdrop with a white draped altar stands behind.2006-12-22Outdoor relief camp on bare sandy ground under striped maroon, purple and green canopies. A woman in white sari with orange shawl stands in the centre beside a young man in light blue shirt and white dhoti. Behind them, workers in white, orange and teal saris move among blue barrels and cooking equipment. A large orange banner with a portrait hangs on a white building, and a palm tree is visible. Leafy branches frame the left foreground.2012-01-06A photograph of an outdoor construction site under a corrugated metal roof, with palm trees and a bare-earth ground. A crowd of devotees, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts and women in white and coloured saris, gathers around a low square of exposed red brick foundation. Some workers in white stand on the dirt, and a man in white bends low at the left edge. In the background, a raised stage with a purple-draped table and a seated figure in orange and red clothing sits under a white cloth canopy. A large white structure stands beyond the palms. The scene looks like a ritual groundbreaking or foundation-laying.2006-12-22Outdoor crowd at a gathering under a clear blue sky with palm trees behind. Foreground women, smiling, wear white and cream saris and kurtas, a green-and-cream patterned sari, a teal salwar, and an orange sari with a white and blue border. A young man in a black shirt with a small badge stands to the left, and rows of people in white and pastel clothes fill the background beside a metal scaffold frame. No one is clearly identifiable as a person in this crowd, so no candidate is marked.2006-12-25
