Outdoor procession on a paved road under trees and blue sky, marking the first USA Kumbha Mela. A tall red-and-white ornate parasol with a lotus-motif canopy is carried upright by a man in white dhoti and shirt at left. Centre, a man in saffron-orange robes with an orange turban, long hair and a rudraksha mala walks forward, hands folded; the swept-back long hair, orange turban and rudraksha cues are compatible with the a person label, so a person is unsure. Around them, white-clad devotees carry orange and red flags and parasols, and a woman in white holds a metal vessel. A white flag with a blue bird emblem and a banner are visible behind the group.
