Indoor temple scene on a polished maroon floor. Several boys seated cross-legged in rows in the foreground, palms pressed together in namaskar, some in red, striped and blue shirts with light trousers. Ahead, a priest in white dhoti and orange shawl raises a lit lamp before a shrine containing a deity murti adorned with garlands and a gold crown. Tall dark statues of two figures in red and purple clothing flank the shrine, and white carved pillars frame the hall.
