Many women wear white or saffron-trimmed saris and salwars, some in blue, pink, green and yellow; several have folded hands in anjali or are clapping. Men in white shirts and saffron shawls sit in the front rows. At the far left edge, a glimpse of an ornate altar or stage is visible. The crowd appears to number in the many hundreds, with the room extending far back.2010-12-29January 13 20152015-01-13April 10 20172017-04-10January 03 20162016-01-03January 03 20162016-01-03A large outdoor gathering of seated devotees on bare ground under a long maroon and cream patterned canopy supported by metal poles. Most people wear white clothing, with some women in saris of blue, green, yellow and red. Many sit with palms pressed together in namaskar, and a woman at right in a white printed top and rudraksha mala holds her hands folded. Banana plants and a clear pale sky appear behind the tent, and a wooden rail runs across the foreground. No single figure on the stage is clearly visible enough to identify as a candidate.2010-01-01
