Ritual scene in an indoor hall during a Shaktipata-style initiation. A seated figure on a throne-like seat with a golden trident behind him, wearing a pink-and-white beaded garland and long dreadlocked hair, is facing a row of kneeling and standing male devotees bare-chested with white dhoti-style cloth and gold-and-rudraksha necklaces. A devotee in the center leans forward holding small ritual items, while another devotee in a yellow garment sits in the foreground with her back to the camera. Ornate gold ritual objects and a leopard-print cloth lie in the foreground. Several other white-clad people stand in the background, and a red cloth hangs behind them.
