A close photograph of a worker carving a large rough-hewn wooden log outdoors. A dark-skinned forearm and hand, wearing a black wristwatch-style strap, grip a wooden-handled chisel with a dark blade and a blue collar, striking the timber with a blurred mallet or wooden hammer above. The log has a freshly carved pale patch showing grain, and wood chips lie on the sandy ground. Behind is a dirt yard with a palm tree and green grass.
