A shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti and face mask performs aarti with a brass lamp before two black stone deity murtis in a temple shrine. Smoke or incense fills the air. The deities wear silver crowns, garlands of white and orange flowers, jewelled necklaces and red-and-gold silk garments. Behind them hangs a framed portrait with the Sanskrit phrase tat tvam asi. A painted pillar with elephant and floral motifs stands at left, and gold-bordered decorations frame the shrine.
