A photograph of a stage event at a Tamil-language ceremony. Two men stand side by side on a stage, both wearing heavy garlands of red and white flowers. The man on the left wears an orange-and-gold garment with long swept-back hair and raises one hand in greeting. The man on the right wears a light-coloured garment and stands beside him with hands folded. Behind them a large framed portrait of a man with long hair and a white garment is displayed on a red and gold backdrop, with Tamil text printed across the top of the banner.
