A photograph of a pale pink ceremonial gateway at a Kumbh Mela camp approach, with a central arch flanked by two towers. Large printed banners hang on the gate and on roadside hoardings, showing portraits of several people. Yellow and white metal barriers and wooden poles line a dirt road, and a uniformed police officer in khaki stands at right beside a sadhu in orange robes. Green hills and rocky outcrops rise in the background under an overcast sky. Banners in Marathi and Hindi-style script announce the Kumbh gathering.
