Close-up photo of a ritual exchange in a temple-like room. A man in white dhoti with gold-bordered cloth and a heavy gold bead necklace holds a silver plate of yellow-orange thread or kalava and ties it on another person's wrist; that wrist shows a green-and-clear bead bracelet and gold bangles. Beside them, a person in an orange-red saffron robe with gold border and a gold bead necklace with a pendant holds a second silver plate. Behind is an ornate gold-and-red throne-like chair, and on the right a tray with flowers, red cloth and small ritual items. Orange-painted walls surround the scene.2010-12-23May 03 20082008-05-03Close-up of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes holding a dark rudraksha mala with both hands, the beads hanging across the lap. The face is turned downward and partly hidden. Appearance does not clearly show the a person candidate in ways that meet the criteria, so the figure is described by role as a devotee or attendant. Only partially visible figures stand in the background.2012-09-11June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesDecember 28 20112011-12-28
