Night procession at a KAILASA event: a large ratha/palanquin canopy covered in colourful painted cloth with red, yellow, orange, blue and green panels, garlanded with yellow and marigold flowers and banana leaves, topped by a finial. Inside the canopy a seated figure on a gold ornate throne wears a pink robe, a crown and a white flower garland, with a deity murti and a Shiva lingam image placed above. Around the ratha a dense crowd of devotees in white and orange clothing, including a smiling woman in white with hands raised and men in white dhotis holding a red cloth. Painted text on the canopy reads NITHYANANDA. A second colourful canopy stands at left.
