The seated figure wears an orange-and-red silk shawl, a long green leaf garland with red and yellow flowers, and has a white tilak on the forehead; the appearance is consistent with a person candidate, with long swept-back dark hair, orange clothing and floral garland, though the face is partly turned and not clearly distinguishable. Behind them a woman in a white sari with a yellow border and a bald man in white robes stand near a tray of apples and a gold-trimmed side table.
