Night outdoor photo of a crowd at a religious gathering. In the foreground at right, a person in an orange-saffron turban, orange robe and long curly hair, seated and extending a whole pineapple toward a man in a white shirt who reaches up with both hands. A bald older man in white stands nearby with palms pressed together, and a man in a blue checked shirt also holds his hands in anjali. Behind them a dense crowd of mostly men in white shirts and dhotis, with a few women in saris, fills the frame, and white and purple flower garlands lie in the lower corners. Bright lights glow in the dark background. The orange-clad figure has presentational cues such as the saffron turban and robe, but the appearance is not clearly established, so the identity is treated as uncertain.
