A man with long dark wavy hair and a red bindi sits cross-legged barefoot on a white-draped seat in front of a large banyan tree with many thick aerial roots. He wears an orange-saffron robe with gold-bordered edges wrapped over one shoulder, and his hands rest on his knees in a meditative pose. The orange clothing and long swept-back hair are cues consistent with Swamiji (probable), seated in a sannyasi-style pose.2008-05-25A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe with gold-bordered edges sits cross-legged on a white cloth-covered platform in front of a massive banyan tree with many aerial roots. The figure has long, dark, swept-back hair and a red bindi on the forehead, hands resting on the knees, eyes closed in stillness. Appearance cues (long hair, saffron ornate robe, sitting in meditation) are consistent with Swamiji (probable), seated in meditation pose. Soft daylight, earthen ground beneath the tree.2008-05-25May 25 20082008-05-25 +1 copiesA seated man in an orange-saffron turban and matching orange robes sits cross-legged on a small maroon velvet stool with carved wooden legs, barefoot, on bare dusty ground. He wears a long rudraksha mala and a red tilak on his forehead, looking to his right with a faint smile. Behind him, the massive grey aerial roots and trunk of a large banyan tree spread across the frame, with dappled shade on the ground. The figure has long swept-back dark hair under the turban, consistent with the page's a person mention, but the appearance is not conclusive enough to confirm identity from the image.2004-07-21May 25 20082008-05-25May 25 20082008-05-25 +2 copiesMay 25 20082008-05-25 +1 copiesMay 25 20082008-05-25A man with long dark wavy hair sits cross-legged on a white cloth-draped platform in front of a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. He wears orange-saffron robes with a gold-bordered dhoti and a red bindi on his forehead, hands resting on his knees in a meditative pose. Garden walls and foliage are visible behind him. The man's appearance, long swept hair, saffron robes and a seated platform match the page's a person-related cues, so he is described as a person seated in meditation.2008-05-25November 02 20132013-11-02A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on a white-draped stone platform in front of a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. He wears an orange-saffron robe with gold border trim, has long dark wavy hair and a red bindi on his forehead, and sits barefoot with hands resting on his knees in a calm, meditative pose. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron robe with gold border and a red forehead mark are the cues for this seated figure. The setting is outdoors with dirt ground and a low white wall behind the platform.2008-05-25October 31 20032003-10-31
