Several men in white dhotis and shirts walk in the crowd, and some wear orange shawls. Drummers in white clothing beat dhol drums slung on their shoulders. Five large colourful umbrellas with gold finials and fringed edges are carried above the group, and a white shrine with a bull statue garlanded in flowers stands at the left. A large crowd of over twenty people follows, with a few women in saris.2006-12-26December 31 20062006-12-31December 30 20062006-12-30 +1 copiesDecember 25 20062006-12-25December 24 20082008-12-24December 27 20092009-12-27December 25 20062006-12-25Outdoor procession on a dirt path under a canopy of strings of small pennants. Several large decorated parasols with orange, blue and red panels and gold finials are carried above a crowd of men and boys in white dhotis and shirts with rudraksha malas. In the centre, a figure in saffron-orange robes wears a long white-and-orange flower garland and has long dark hair, standing among the parasol bearers. Drummers play barrel drums, and a woman in a rust-coloured sari with gold jewellery walks in front carrying a ceremonial staff. A white van is parked at the right edge.2006-12-29February 12 20102010-02-12February 12 20102010-02-12
