Outdoor photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes and a gold bead necklace, with long dark hair, barefoot, performing a ritual over a black stone lingam on a square stone base. He holds a metal lamp with a flame over the lingam, which is decorated with yellow flowers, a coconut and a gold-coloured tilak mark. Behind him, several men in orange robes hold brass plates of yellow flowers, and a crowd of children and adults in casual clothes watch closely. The scene suggests a lingam puja at an open site.
