A photograph of a large ritual food offering laid out on a white tiled floor in rows of round and oval silver-toned plates and leaf-lined trays. The dishes include red bell peppers, pomegranates, a green pumpkin, bowls of rice, yellow turmeric paste, fried snacks, sweets, flatbreads, fruit pieces, nuts and green chillies. A gold-and-yellow draped deity murti or ceremonial figure sits at the top of the frame behind the spread, with a patterned rug along the edge. No people are visible.

A photograph of a large ritual offering spread laid out on a dark stone floor at night. Dozens of round disposable plates, many lined with green leaves and wrapped in clear plastic, hold grains, lentils, sprouts, pulses, vegetables, cooked dishes and fruit in varied colours. A bunch of ripe bananas hangs at the upper left beside a folded red and maroon cloth with a small red flower, and a basket of red flowers sits at the left edge. No people are visible; the arrangement suggests an offering or pada puja setup.

A photograph of a large floor arrangement of food offerings laid out in rows on a stone-paved floor, most. Dozens of disposable paper plates each hold a different dish: grains, lentils, pulses, cooked rice preparations, vegetables, dried fruit and sweets, many set on green banana leaves. Bananas hang in a bunch at the upper left beside a kalasha-like container and a red cloth. A woven basket of red fruit sits at the left edge. No people are visible in the frame.

A close-up photo of many metal plates and trays arranged on a long table holding heaps of powdered and whole ingredients. Conical mounds of yellow, orange, red, ochre, white and grey powders sit beside plates of dried roots, bark pieces, dried flakes, black peppercorns, grey pellets, white grains, rock-like chunks and a bundle of green leafy sprigs. Brick and yellow-ochre surfaces appear behind the table. No people are visible; the scene looks like a preparation station for an herbal medicine, with the ingredients laid out for mixing.

A photograph of many metal bowls and trays of dry ingredients displayed on a colourful striped woven cloth. Bowls hold black and brown seeds, white and brown grains, dried nuts, whole spices, dried fruit, chunks of jaggery or dried root, and piles of shelled nuts. The arrangement suggests offering or preparation of a herbal mixture. No people are visible.
