Close photograph of bare feet on green banana leaves on a tiled floor during a ritual. Two people in white dhoti with gold borders stand at left and centre; the centre foot is dyed orange-yellow with turmeric and a red mark is visible on a toe. A person in an orange robe with a red-and-gold border kneels at right holding a brass bowl of red kumkum. Wet floor and scattered leaves suggest a footwashing or padapuja ritual. Faces are not visible; only feet, legs and clothing appear.
