A photograph of a communal meal at an ashram or Kumbh camp, with many seated men in saffron and orange robes. A man with a dark beard stands at right in a light orange kurta, bent forward and serving from a large stainless steel bucket with a ladle. Seated men on the floor hold out plates and bowls; one man at left wears a red-and-white checked headband, another wears a white-and-orange headscarf, and one wears a white bead necklace. Small steel cups, plastic water bottles and plates of food sit on the white floor. A man in white dhoti stands at upper left.

Rows of saffron-robed sadhus sit on striped woven mats and colourful rugs, many with orange turbans or orange shawls and long beards. Attendants in white dhotis with gold-bordered cloths move among them carrying steel buckets and serving food onto leaf plates and metal thalis. Brass vessels and water bottles are set along the mats, and golden decorations and a shrine area are visible at the back. A saffron-clad man with a rudraksha mala and orange turban sits near the centre, appearing to be a sadhu receiving food, with no clear visual cues to identify him beyond that.2015-09-17 +1 copiesSeptember 15 20152015-09-15 +2 copiesA photo of a seated group of orange-robed sadhus on a red-brown floor, many wearing orange or saffron cloths and orange turbans.
